Where industrial soul meets entrepreneurial spirit

Located in Long Island City’s iconic Zipper Building—a former 1920s zipper factory turned boutique residence—this loft was reimagined for a bachelor entrepreneur who needed a space that could both ground and inspire him. The building’s original brick walls and exposed wood beams set the tone for a design that celebrates character, craft, and a little New York City grit.

Inside, we played with contrast: heritage textures layered with refined materials, sculptural furniture beside clean-lined cabinetry, and a layout that balances solo recharge moments with room to gather and create. The result is a modern Pied-à-Terre that feels bold, effortless, and entirely his own.
